Hello, I am sending you this informative email about the project in Costinesti (Romania), a project subsidised by the European Union, from the Erasmus + programme. These projects are a great opportunity for young people like you, between 18 and 30 years old, to meet other young people from different countries and exchange cultures, make new friends...
The project I did in particular was called "Nice to meet you", the aim of the project is to increase the level of social and intercultural competences, to raise awareness of the need for intercultural dialogue in the current European context, sharing customs, traditions, knowledge and national values, in this project there were 6 participating countries (Romania, Bulgaria, Italy, Spain, Greece and Turkey), in order to put an end to activities that can lead to discrimination and social exclusion.
In the "Nice to meet you" project we made different representative objects about the different participating cultures, using Origami, a Japanese art. With the origami made by the participants from the participating countries we made a cultural fair, where we exhibited our art. We also filmed a video explaining how to make the symbol chosen by the countries to be shown at the fair and to teach the local people how to make origami. For example: a symbol of Spanish culture is the bull or the flamenco fan, Turkey: the tulip. Greece: boat Romania: Bison, Dracula. Italy: Pizza, Gelatto and Bulgaria: The rose.
Apart from this cultural fair, we carry out multiple activities of communication and teamwork with the different participants from the participating countries. I encourage you to sign up for these projects, to live unique experiences and to meet wonderful people in order to exchange cultures and break stereotypes.

Buenas, os mando este correo informativo sobre el proyecto realizado en Costinesti (Rumanía), un proyecto subvencionado por la Unión Europea, del programa Erasmus +. Estos proyectos presentan una gran oportunidad para jóvenes como vosotros, entre 18 y 30 años, para poder conocer a otros jóvenes de distintos países e intercambiar culturas, hacer nuevas amistades...
El proyecto que yo realicé en particular se llamaba "Nice to meet you", el objetivo del proyecto es aumentar el nivel de competencias sociales e interculturales, sensibilizar sobre la necesidad del diálogo intercultural en el contexto europeo actual, compartiendo costumbres, tradiciones, conocimientos y valores nacionales, en este proyecto hubo 6 países participantes (Rumanía, Bulgaría, Italia, España, Grecia y Turquía), con el fin de poner fin a las actividades que pueden conducir a la discriminación y a la exclusión social.
En el proyecto "Nice to meet you" realizamos diferentes objetos representativos sobre las distintas culturas participantes, mediante el Origami, un arte Japonés. Con los origamis realizados por los participantes de los países participantes realizamos una feria cultural, donde expusimos nuestro arte. También filmamos un video explicativo de cómo realizar el símbolo elegido por los países para ponerlo en la feria y enseñar a la gente local cómo realizar el origami. Por ejemplo: un símbolo de la cultura española es el toro o el abanico de flamenco, Turquía: el tulipán. Grecia: barco Rumanía: Bisonte, Drácula. Italia: Pizza, Gelatto y Bulgaria: La rosa.
A parte de esta feria cultural, realizamos múltiples actividades de comunicación y trabajo en equipo con los distintos participantes de los países participantes. Os animo a que os apuntéis a estos proyectos, para vivir experiencias únicas y conocer a gente maravillosa y así poder intercambiar culturas y romper con los estereotipos.
